Damocles

There are 2 versions of Damocles : Damocles MKI and Damocles MKII.

Damocles MKI is located at Aeros and Damocles MKII is located at the Ancient Battlegrounds.

Prerequisite for attempting the Damocles MKII Quest:

• Captains have to be in a clan, since the monster is at Ancient Battlegrounds.
• Level Requirement: 130.

The last of the Monster Bosses that drops ingredients for crafting .

Both battle initiator and assisting captains have chance to get Chaos Module.

Damocles MKII is unlike the other Monster Boss.There will not be any initiator's reward or assisting Captain's reward.Its a free for all situation and anyone may get the last hit.

The rewards for sinking Damocles MKII are: Dark Plasma (100%) and a random drop from the following 3 items:

• Damocles Ray
• Cronus V Rocket
• Inferno Thrusters

And this goes to the captain who last hit on Damocles MKII only.

Why can't I get a Damocles Ray when sinking Damocles MKII??

When you attack Damocles MKII you do so at your own risk.:

There is no guarantee you will get the last hit since anyone could attack it and get the kill just before you do. There is also no guarantee you will get what you want when you sink it. By now you might have noticed from the port news that it drops different items.

Damocles ray can now be crafted automatically in the Ancient Battleground using the crafting system.

Manual swap for Damocles ray is officially discontinued from 2nd January 2012 and Damocles Mk 2 that were sunk after 2nd of January 2012 will not be eligible for manual swap.

Sword of Damocles was one of the random drop items for Damocles MKII and has been phased out since.

Captains with Sword of Damocles can keep it if they wish to, or exchange with Game Admin via the support feedback form ingame.


Captains are to take note that Sword of Damocles is no longer used as a component for crafting of Chaos Blade.
