Auction House

“If you need something and you haven't got the moolah and stuff, no problem! That over there's the Auction House; take a good look, there's one in every Port, and you can't miss it. If you ever need a bargain, you know where to go. Just be on your toes though, because there's plenty of others also looking for the same bargain as you are.” - Marina Artimecia, Harbourmaster of Port Royale

The Weapons and Parts Shop offers everything a Captain may need, but for nothing less than full price. On the other hand, when it's a bargain one wants, there's no place better to look for it than the Auction Houses!

Accessible via the Market tab on the main navigation bar in the Main Page (Market→Weapons Auction) or (Market→Parts Auction) or (Market→Outfit Auction), Captains may bid for and/or put on auction Weapons, Parts, and Ship/Captain Skins. This can be done respectively in the Weapons Auction, the Parts Auction, and the Outfit Auction.

Certain items are limited in the Captain's inventory in the Hangar. If a Captain holds enough of a particular item to reach that item's inventory limit, he/she cannot bid for an additional piece of that item.

E.g: The inventory limit of the Hyper Drill is 3. If a Captain has 2 Hyper Drills in his/her inventory, he/she cannot bid for 2 more separate Hyper Drills on the Weapons Auction. That Captain may only bid for 1 Hyper Drill, as doing so will fill up the quota for the inventory limit of the Hyper Drill.

Auction House Rules

“If you think you can get it cheap, I can get it cheaper. If you think you can make money I can make more. Bid wisely, and don't pay higher than you think you can sell it for.” - Captain Ricardo Rioja, regular Auctions speculator

  • The Auction Houses are unlocked when Captains reaches Level 10.
  • The next minimum bid on an item on auction will now be the higher of the following:
Previous bid + 5% of the Estimated Gold Value (EGV)
                     or
Previous bid + 5% of the previous bid

  • Making a bid on an item will also randomly increase its auction time by 0-60 seconds.
  • There is a 1 hr waiting time for the auction to be processed when the auction of an item closed.
  • Auction results will be displayed in the Captain's Log when it is processed.
  • On all closing bids higher than the EGV of the item successfully auctioned, a 100% tax will be applied on the portion of Gold in the winning bid in excess of the item's EGV. Therefore, the seller will only get Gold equivalent to the item's EGV, no matter the actual amount of the winning bid.
  • The number of pieces of the same item that a Captain can bid on is subjected to inventory limit of that item.

  • The description of the time left for an item in auction will be as such:
Description Time Left
very long more than 12 hrs
long between 6 to 12 hrs
moderate between 3 to 6 hrs
short less than 3 hr
